FSC Campaigns

WWF brings a video-animation explaining why the FSC label matters for forests, people, and wildlife. In line with their statement, this campaign aims to support FSC and incentivize people to buy products under this label. 

Hence, WWF stands for FSC claiming that looking for the label that says FSC when you buy paper towels, tissues, furniture or any other forest products, it’s one of the easiest things you can do to help save the world’s forests.

"Florestas para todos para sempre" (Forest for all forever). Forests are fundamental to our lives, hence, the campaign wants to emphasize how important it is to create a discussion around them. The claim that taking part of this dialogue is easy is explain by taking the little steps towards better consume habits.  In this campaign created by FSC Brasil, the actor Elam Lima explains perfectly this trade-off. Using a influencer, the campaign aims to get closer to the people and reach a wider public.

This German Youtube channel focuses on everything about sustainable fashion and lifestyle. In their videos, they also deal with sustainability seals, shops and general topics around fashion world.  In this case, they dedicated the topic to FSC. Whether college block or cardboard box, everyone has to make a choice. When you stand  in front of a shelf with 10 different variants and on one or the other you can see the FSC logo. What is FSC?

Be Label Wise was developed by South African NGOs and ecolabels: FSC South Africa, Fairtrade, Fairtrade Tourism, and the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC). This campaign has a funny approach about every-day heroes and their choices. It propose to make consumers think before buying: How label wise are you when you shop? Do you how the people who made your products were treated? Were the forests and habitats where your paper came from looked after?

With a policy of "Zero Déforestation d'ici 2020", they committed to reduce the impact on deforestation to guarantee the long-term supply of these raw materials.

According to María Quintín Clemente, the Director Corporate Social Responsibility and Environment Carrefour Spain, FSC is is more than a a brand of forest management. "It has taught us a philosophy of life, working with them is one of the exercises of professionalism and recognition that we incorporate in our day to day life"

FSC is shown as a solution to conserve and preserve our planet. By choosing FSC timber, we fight against deforestation and climate change (Kies voor hout, red het woud).
