FSC Campaigns

The DM chain is promoting its natural products line, with FSC certified wood in their social media (Instagram). Showing that one of its products (toothbrush) is made of FSC-certified beech wood and is free of petroleum and pesticide, the post highlights the importance of our brand. Moreover, the sustainability of the brand is not only committed with the responsible forestry, but also, with other good choices: by using wood from Switzerland, long transport routes are avoided, and the consumers can access to a more environmental-friendly product!

Micys Company S.p.A., with their cosmetics brand Pupa, a famous Italian cosmetics manufacturer, also known in several countries in the world, launched a new "natural" make-up line called Natural Side, which also has FSC certified packaging with the logos of Forests For All Forever. This campaign is not only online but also off-line where their retail their products and in several magazines and has plans to be display on the points of sale abroad (more or less 70 countries).

In partnership with Idesam, a Brazilian office carboneutralizes its activities. Reaffirming its commitment to the sustainable development of traditional forest communities, FSC Brazil invested R $ 10,000 to carbon neutral its actions and institutional activities in 2017, through a partnership with the Carbon Neutral Program of the Institute of Conservation and Development Of the Amazon (Idesam).

Working closely with Deakin University and with the support of Tork^® Professional Hygiene, FSC Australia has developed a series of lesson plans and activity sheets. These free lesson plans are available for primary levels from one up to six and are inline with AusVELS curriculum. The lesson plans and activities are creative and thought-provoking and cover topics including deforestation, ecology and the food chain.

With around 8,500 tons of paper used in the restaurant-chain packaging across the globe every year, achieving the FSC stamp of approval on packaging in many restaurants was a big milestone. Eating out in countries with high waste production like Taiwan just became more sustainable! The Company joined WWF’s Global Forest & Trade Network program and set its fiber sourcing targets, including a preference for Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) packaging made from wood fiber.

Moreover, they created a website to provide more information to consumers about how they can help to take care of the forests. They placed those pieces on supermarkets and bus stops.
